The Sussed Family Business
From helping my father pitch ideas to toy companies, I remained a games inventor at heart despite 35 years in banking. 10 years as a family business adviser taught me the importance of talking and listening. It also made me realise how little families often know about each other. Seeing an opportunity to turn my hobby into something more, I became a silverpreneur!
Chief Product Officer
One of my favourite things to do as a kid was create games for my brother and me. As our Chief Product Officer, I'm lucky enough to be creating games for more than just us now! From our specialist products to our core line, it's been incredibly motivating to see just how much of an impact our games have had on people. I can't wait to show you what else we have lined up!
Chief Operating Officer
I’ve always loved playing games, but little did I know I'd become involved in the invention of one. I’m in charge of the stuff that goes on behind the scenes. One minute I’m doing the bookkeeping and the next I’m acting as a sounding board for the creatives in the family. Always varied, never boring. By the way, I happen to be very good at Sussed!
As a massive board game fan, it took me leaving home to help me realise how hard it is to play most games over Zoom. I knew our extended family used Sussed all the time for our weekly catch ups, but I also knew that not all of them had their Sussed packs with them all the time! So I wanted to create ways for us to connect with Sussed but digitally!
Chip's been the team mascot for the last year and has boosted productivity tenfold!
